Kitchen nook

Our house passed the framing inspection after we got the "hurricane straps" put on. I'll post those pictures soon so you can see exactly what hurricane straps are.

Meanwhile, I've been looking around more on Pinterest and "pinning" to my "board" photos of ideas for the new house. Here's a great view of a kitchen that has a similar layout as mine in terms of the counter leading to a "nook" area in front of a window.

Ain't it purrty? I wouldn't do the turquoise countertops but the bright kitchen nook just lights me up with excitement.
